For several months after the tornado struck, the gymnasium served as a base for rescue work and a warehouse for materials. It is currently being reconstructed.
The renovations include structural modifications to the dressing rooms, staircases, performers’ facilities, communication areas, boiler room, and bar facilities. Contemporary technology, HVAC, new sports equipment and stage equipment will be installed in the building.
In the second phase, the surroundings of the Sokol Hall will be adapted for outdoor cultural events. The visualisations show the intended appearance of the Sokol Hall and its surroundings.
The reconstruction of the Falcon Hall is expected to be completed by the end of February this year.
Lining the gym with high-pressure laminate boards with increased fire resistance and a combination of board perforations to improve the acoustics of the space.
The high-pressure laminate tiles are impact-resistant and suitable for ball sports halls.
HPL cladding material on the underlying aluminium grid. Fixing the boards with certified adhesives tested for durability and strength of the joint for use in gyms.
