In 2020-2021, the 1929 school building underwent extensive renovations, including replacing heating, windows, doors, and HVAC systems. The façade of the main building and attached apartments was insulated and renovated according to the design of Brno architects Janica Šipulová and Martin Sládek from the Consequence forma s.r.o. studio. The aim was to revitalize, save energy and modernize the school to fit in with the community and bring a new architectural expression. Architect Janice Šipulová, a graduate of the school, said the original brief was to replace the windows, but gradually expanded to include overall energy savings, changes to the heating, doors and air conditioning, including refurbishment of the school’s façade and changing rooms. Her goal was to create a beautiful piece of work with interesting materials and architectural expression.
Safety and long-term durability are indispensable qualities for the school environment. Our lockers, made of LTD material with ABS plastic edges and all-metal hinges, ensure that these qualities are guaranteed. Of course, we have the option of adding ventilation grilles to the lockers, retrofitting the inside of the lockers, and adding locking systems.
In a world where every student has unique needs, it is crucial that lockers reflect these differences. We offer locker solutions for the youngest students, all the way up to lockers for second graders and high school and college students. With the ability to customize, in this case adjusting the height, and ergonomic design, our lockers are the ideal solution.
