The construction of the Louka Swimming Pool, which cost more than a quarter of a billion crowns, started on 15 July 2021. A combination of the city’s own resources, a bank loan and subsidies was used to finance it. The new indoor swimming pool will bring its visitors comfort and a full range of services as well as innovations that they have not been used to in Znojmo in the old spa or the Municipal Swimming Pool. The biggest one will be the chip wristbands used to pass through the turnstiles, as keys to the lockers or as a wallet for drinks in the spa. The system, which works in many similar facilities in other cities, is simple and very convenient for its users.
The new building houses a swimming pool, a children’s and relaxation pool and a modern wellness world. It is connected to the popular Louka swimming pool in a unique location near the Louka Monastery.
Interior elements of the PRO Pools range - lockers levitate above the ground - are suspended from monolithic concrete walls and fitted with electronic locks , changing cubicles, toilet cubicles.
